Meetings and guests

Participants and invitations

An outside participant gets an email with an accept or decline link and no access to the rest of the calendar. The organiser sees the answer immediately, and a comment on the answer is optional.

What is inside

  • A participant is an A3.ID employee or an external email address
  • Answers: accepted, declined, tentative, no answer yet
  • An optional comment when a participant wants to explain
  • An invitation does not open the rest of the schedule to an outsider
  • An outside participant can opt out of one meeting or of every meeting of the account
  • Opting out of change notices does not switch off invitations and reminders
  • An attendee can propose another time instead of declining
  • Attendee availability shows right in the event editor

Included in the single A3.Calendar edition, with no add-ons or higher plans. How to get access

Frequently asked questions

Does an external attendee need an account?

No. They reply to the invitation by the link in the email and get no access to the rest of the schedule.

What if the time does not suit an attendee?

The attendee declines or proposes another time with a comment. The organizer sees the reply at once.
